HealthProm works with young Afghan migrants and refugees through our Gateway to Education for Afghan Refugee Children project in London. The grant was awarded by The British and Foreign School Society [BFSS] and provides funding for supplementary educational support and social activities.
This project came into existence with the aim of providing education and support to young Afghan refugees who have arrived in London seeking safety and a better life. The project provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, offering free English and math classes, and other support services to help them succeed in their new home and academic life. So far we have assisted over 30 students who need support at various stages of their studies.
The Afghan refugee education project in London is a crucial initiative that provides a lifeline to marginalized refugee children, helping them to integrate into their new community and assist them in advancing in the new academic atmosphere. With the support of BFSS, the project has made a real difference in the lives of many of Afghan children in London.
