HealthProm is recruiting a new Projects and Fundraising Officer to join our small dynamic team in King’s Cross, London. The post-holder will provide support to the Director of Operations and the projects team with our current international and UK projects, liaise with international partners and donors to ensure effective project implementation. The post-holder will also provide support with fundraising and communications. Good working knowledge of Russian language is essential.
Key elements of the role
Projects Support (2 days per week)
- Providing administrative project support, including organising project files, as well as project meetings, training and visits;
- Assisting with project M&E processes, collecting regular project reports from partners and assisting with drafting project reports for funders;
- Liaising with local partners to discuss project plans and activities, collecting stories of change and other information as required
- Translating project materials, reports and communications from Russian into English
- Collaborate and support the development of high quality project presentations and papers reporting progress of the project
- Preparing Regular project updates for HealthProm social media, newsletter and web-site
- Recruit and manage interns and volunteers
Fundraising and Communication (1 day per week)
- Supporting Director of Operations with various fundraising tasks as required
- Researching funding opportunities and updating donor database
- Organising and supporting fundraising appeals and events
- Developing and building up HealthProm’s presence and impact on social media
- Maintaining and updating HealthProm’s website
-Co-ordinating and writing regular e-newsletters liaising with relevant staff and project managers to ensure deadlines are met
Key skills:
- Previous experience in a project support or fundraising role, preferably in an international charity
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently- Excellent communication skills, both in English and Russian- Strong IT skills (Microsoft packages, database skills and website management)- Good inter-personal skills, able to work well within a small team and manage interns and volunteers- Goal orientated, able to meet deadlines
