Over the past month, our generous funder, Google, provided our team with a number of upskilling opportunities. One of which was a workshop for advancing nonprofit fundraising and media strategies. HealthProm team members spent a full day learning more about these two important aspects of charity operations. In the first half of the day, our team members heard from PR and media experts on how to brand our mission and expand our media reach. This information was followed up by an outstanding discussion of effective strategies for increasing charitable funding. HealthProm is continuously looking for avenues to expand and enhance our operations and this workshop provided team members with invaluable guidance for promoting our vital mission. In addition to the workshop our team attended, last week, our team was invited to the Google community Christmas celebration where we networked with other charities and celebrated the end of a successful year. This event provided us the space to speak openly with other charities about our work and hear more about the charitable work that Google funds throughout London.
We thank Google again for their support of refugee women in London. Google's funding of our project ensures that refugees in London will have access to the resources they need this Holiday season and beyond. We look forward to another year dedicated to developing strong partnerships: both new and old!
