New funding gives green light to women's project
National Lottery and Camden Giving announce support for HealthProm’s work with vulnerable Russian-speaking migrants
New funding from Camden Giving and the National Lottery Community Fund will enable HealthProm to resume its work with migrant women from Eastern Europe and Central Asia from 1 October 2020.
HealthProm began the Open Doors project last year, providing access to free English classes, mental health support, legal information, employment support and training for 85 women. The new funding will allow the charity to continue and develop this work, alongside delivering additional support to tackle the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the lives of these marginalised women.
We would like to thank Camden Giving, the National Lottery Community Fund and HM Government for supporting this vital work.
